Kitten/Cat Request Form

To reserve or purchase an available kitten or cat, please first fill out the request form on this page. This allows me to get to know a little about you, and it helps me to advise you towards the best kitten or cat for your home.

The average waitlist is approximately 4-6 months.

Once you are on the wait list, you do not need to call me and ask if kittens are available. I will contact you when it’s your turn to pick a kitten. But feel free to call with any other questions. My phone number is (724) 496-2636.

Please read my full Adoption Guide before proceeding.

Deposit and Payment Information
All Siberian cats/kittens will be $2000 total, paid in three installments. The first installment is an $200 deposit to be put onto the waiting list. The second is $800, paid when you pick out which kitten you’d like to adopt. The final $1000 is given at the time when you pick up your kitten.

Checks can be made payable to NANCY BURCH or Willow Springs, and mailed to 395 Eagle Mill Road Butler, PA 16001. I am now also taking

VENMO @Nancy-Burch (exactly like this, a dash and no spaces)

ZELLE Nancy Brown 724-496-2636. (Because of security, I do prefer Zelle for the larger payments.) Be sure to call and text me anytime you make a Venmo or Zelle. NOTE: If you have any concerns, send $1 to verify you are connecting with me.

If you’re using a credit card for your deposit, please call me directly with your information. Note that if a card is used, a 4% fee will be added to the payment.

If you decide not to get a kitten, any deposit you have placed for a kitten, less the non-refundable $200, will be refunded.

Pick-up and Boarding
The kitten(s) from each litter will be available around the dates noted on this page in the individual litter listings. Please make sure your schedule allows you to be home with your new kitten and that you don’t have any trips or vacations planned away from your new kitten at that time. We want the best for you and your new kitten, so when it’s your turn, please only choose a kitten if you’re able to pick them up within the dates listed. Under certain circumstances, we would be able to board your chosen kitten beyond the pick-up dates for a fee of $20/day for a reasonable amount of time. Payment for any boarding is due when you pick up your kitten.

*Due to the nature of the Ultra Nasal vaccines, sometimes sneezing may occur. In cases like this, pick-up dates may be extended beyond what is posted by a few days.

Travel Information
I am willing to meet halfway, or if necessary, I will drive the entire way. I ask for .60 cents per mile, round trip, to offset my gas, tolls, and travel expenses.

For those customers who are too far to drive, I will either fly with your kitten to your airport or you may fly into Pittsburgh International Airport and I can meet you there with your kitten. Most airlines have very reasonable carry-on costs for your pet.

Veterinary & Dietary Information
Our cattery is tested FeLV and FIV negative. Our Adults are screened for HCM by a Board Certified Veterinary Cardiologist.

We only give our kittens Heska UltraNasal vaccines. When necessary, we use Merial PureVax Feline Rabies, as there is no adjuvant (which can cause cancer in cats). Many people say that cancer does not occur at a very high rate, but because there is the Purevax alternative, it is the only one I will use. Note: Beginning June 2023, I will be adding an injectable non-adjuvanted FVRCP vaccine at approx. 9 weeks to my protocol.

Kittens are wormed at 3 weeks old and again every 3 weeks until they go to their new home.

Kittens receive their FVRCP vaccine at 12 weeks and 1 day. Kittens may leave 1 week later providing they do not have any sniffles from their vaccine. If a kitten is not confident and ready at that age, they will stay a little longer. Stress can make a kitten more susceptible to illness. No FVRCP booster is needed as this is a modified live virus and is given at 12 week of age.

Kittens are eating solid food by a young age. They gain emotional stability by staying with mom until an older age. Studies have also shown kittens weaned and removed from their mother at an early age have more health issues and a shorter life span.

Our kittens and cats are guaranteed to be healthy and free from disease and parasites when they leave our home.

Guidelines
Our Siberian Cats and Kittens are to be INSIDE cats only. We have a NO DECLAW policy for all our cats and kittens. Declawing is extremely painful. It involves removing bones from their feet, and healing requires several weeks to months. In many cases, a cat’s feet will remain sore for life. Cats need their claws for daily grooming and for proper exercise of muscles by stretching and scratching.

Claws help a cat jump and retain their balance. Trimming a kitten’s claws is simple. We trim the babies’ claws on a regular basis, and they soon learn to accept this procedure as routine. They have grown up with various scratching posts and climbing toys and have been taught to use them instead of our furniture. You will have to show them what you expect in your home. These cats are smart and want to please their owners.

Due to the volume of request forms, you will not be contacted by Nancy until a deposit has been made. Please see the “FAQ” page if you have general questions. For faster responses, contact Kathy on Facebook.
Please send your deposit via check, Venmo, or Zelle. You will not be added to the waitlist until a deposit is sent.

Our cattery is registered with TICA & CFA & TAIGA. Pet buyers will receive the TICA registration papers for their kittens when proof of spay or neuter has been provided.

Our kittens and cats are sold with a written purchase contract, as shown here.

NOTE: The non-refundable deposit is $200. The price of a Siberian kitten is $2000)
